2006 Wednesday 01 NovemberPetrochemical industry workers in Kermanshah go on strikeIran Press News: Workers from the Pars Tadbeer-Fan technology company, a subsidiary of Keyhan Pars conglomorate went on strike to protest the non-receipt of their wages since July. The company which is in charge of the electrical and precision petrochemical tools in Kermanshah employs 170 workers and has consistently been delayed in paying these workers wages during the 2006 calendar yeat. This is the second strike that the workers of this company have organized this year. It is worth mentioning that workers of the company who did not glean any results from the negotiations between their representatives and the company management, wrote a letter of complaint to the bureau of labor in the Harsin township. |
