A team of researchers conduct a phone survey among a cross-section of Iranian citizens, claiming the population is more tolerant that that of Russia, Ukraine and Egypt. A new survey conducted by Israeli researchers found that most Iranians support democratic and liberal values – as opposed to the clerical regime ruling the country. The survey, first of its kind, was conducted by phone among what the researchers call a cross-section of the Iranian public.
