Iran Press News: According to Reuters from Paris, the French company Alcatel Telecom has divested from Tehran’s regime. This French company, fearing American sanctions has discontinued its commercial dealings with the Islamic Republic.
The chief executive officer announced this news during a press conference in Paris.
Alcatel Telecom enjoyed very close trade relations with Tehran’s regime in the past. In an agreement signed in 2001 the French company bolstered the communications network of Tehran and created the first high-speed internet network in Iran.
