2006 Wednesday 08 NovemberCounterfeit dollars flooding Iran’s currency marketIran Press News: After the printing of counterfeit hundred-dollar bills the national central bank of Iran issued a warning for applicants to purchase their foreign currency from foreign exchange locations and banks with the proper seals and permits of the national central bank. The public relations department of the national central bank of the Islamic regime, announced: “Based on complaints received from some of our compatriots and investigation of the situation, we have determined that a large number of $100 bills have been skillfully counterfeited and have been smuggled onto the market via brokers; unsuspecting people who bought the bills from illegal currency sellers were arrested and detained, sometimes for long periods of time, in foreign countries.” |
