Islamic regime arrests liquor salesmen

The regime-run news agency Jomhouri’yeh Islami reported: Tarham Assadian, the director of the public prosecutor's campaign against contraband, smuggled goods and currency announced that five distributors of alcoholic beverages were arrested in Tehran and confessed to several charges of transporting liquor.

According to the Wednesday, November 15th report of the department of public relations and information of the judiciary, Assadian added: “We uncovered and seized approximately 2000 bottles of alcoholic beverages. The men were operating in 2 separate groups that had managed to elude the agents but they were eventually arrested.”
