Disciplinary guards suppress unemployed workers

The regime-run news agency ILNA reported: “On the eve of Ahmadinejad’s trip to the province of Kurdistan the management of the local water and sewage company fired 11 of their employees. Subsequent to this situation, the terminated workers gathered in front of the governor’s office, requesting to have their circumstances investigated.

ILNA’s reporter who appeared on the scene to obtain information was witness to the regime’s disciplinary guards’ brutal attack of the workers who were peacefully protesting. One of the protesting workers, Saeed Sajadi who was severely beaten during the clash, was badly injured, however instead of being delivered to the hospital for medical treatment, he was arrested and taken to an unknown location by the regime’s agents; there is still no information on the condition and whereabouts of Sajadi.

“Ebrahim Mohammadi” another one of the workers said that the group gathered at 10:30 on Monday morning and after the encounter with the guards, one of the governor's office officials who intervened, promised to investigate and hopefully resolve our problems; after that we were told to remove ourselves from the area in front of the governor’s office.”
