2007 Saturday 06 JanuaryIslamic regime confesses to underground nuclear tunnelsThe Islamic republic confessed to the existence of underground tunnels for hiding nuclear equipment. On Thursday, January 4th, on the Islamic regime’s television Gholam-Reza Aghazadeh, the head of the Islamic republic’s atomic energy organization said: "We possess more than 250 tons of UF6 (Hexaflouride gas) in Iran that we keep in tunnels the likes of which are rarely seen in the world. Monthly, more than $1 billion worth of equipment that is domestically produced is installed in the nuclear sites." On Friday, January 5th, the French news agency reported on Aghazadeh’s comment. The news agency wrote that Aghazadeh said that Hexaflouride is injected into the centrifuges for the enrichment of uranium and that the regime has more than 250 tons of UF6 in storage. The French news agency also added that Tehran’s regime had announced only last April that 110 tons of UF6 was produced in the Esfahan nuclear installation. |
