The Islamic Republic’s representative to the U.N. to be replaced

Iran Press News: The regime-run news agency Reja News reports: “Reportedly, as the mission of the current permenant representative of the Islamic republic to the United Nations, Mohammad Javad Zarif draws to a close, he is being replaced with an individual who has no diplomatic experience whatsoever and comes from the field of economics.

The individual replacing Zarif is said to have been deeply involved with the Jebheh Mosharekat (the unity party)* and is said not be alligned with the the positions adopted by the Ahmadinejad administration.

Zarif’s potential replacement is a person with a beneficial background in economic affairs who does not have a negative record; this individual has not met with any obstacles in his approval and was not rejected, however his lack of expertise as well as his non-compliant policies with the ninth administration* , will always remain a matter of concern.”

*Jebheh Mosharekat is the Unity front which represents the so-called “Reformists” in the Islamic republic. It is another party in the Islamic regime and unlike the national or democratic fronts which are secular, it is another facet of the Khomeinist gangs.

*The ninth administration refers to the Ahmadinejad administration which is the ninth administrations since the 1979 Khomeinist takeover of Iran.
