2006 Thursday 23 November43 girls and boys arrested at a party by regime’s agentsIran Press News: The regime-run news agency ISNA reported: “43 girls and boys who were guests at a party in a villa in the Damavand area (north east of Tehran) were arrested by the police officers and Basijis forces of this town." The party was being hosted in the Villa of the father of one of the individuals who was arrested whose name is "Arash"; the guests who were all students had come from Tehran. Ahmad Ghassem-Abadi, police commander of Damavan said: "On the night of the November 18th, we acted on a tip from the Basiji forces about a party in a villa in the area; the police officers immediately infiltrated the villa and arrested the 13 girls and 30 boys who were between the ages of 20 to 25 years of age who were mingling in an unnatural fashion. They were all transferred to the local police headquarters. In inspection of the villa we found 5 bottles of alcohol and 50 vulgar and corrupting music CDs which we confiscated.” |
