Iran Press News: The protest of the Yassoudj municipality workers lead to clashes with the Islamic regime’s brutal disciplinary forces. Dozens of these workers say that they have not received their wages for 7 months and therefore took to protesting in front of the municipality building. The workers chanted slogans and demanded that the regime’s provincial authorities meet with them to resolve their issues. The workers tried to enter the municipality building and this lead to them being attacked by the disciplinary guards. Several workers were arrested.
According to the regime-run news agency ILNA, these 70 workers are subcontracted to the Yassoudj municipality by 2 service companies.
