2007 Friday 12 JanuaryA savage violation of human rights: “Divine sentences will not be stopped”Iran Press News: In an interview with the regime-run news agency, ILNA, the secretary-general of the notorious coalitionist party, MOTALEFEH commented on of the brutal repression and acts of inhumane punishments in Iran, saying: "We cannot discontinue a huge part of the divine verdicts in Iran for in order to please these Europeans who claim to be interested in human rights." He called the most recent resolution of the European Parliament which addresses the brutal violation of human rights in Iran as "a redundant political joke", and claimed: "Human rights violation in Europe is not exactly a secret and no one in the entire world cares about their positions on these kinds of matters anyhow." The secretary-general of the Islamic coalitionist party did not explain why if "someone cannot be concerned with such positions", do agents of the Islamic republic do everything they can to prevent the approval of these types of resolutions. |
