2007 Friday 12 JanuaryRussia abandons the Islamic RepublicIran Press News: According to the regime-run news site AFTAB, Mohammad-Nabi Roudaki, the vice-chairman of the security and foreign policy of the Islamic parliament (the Majles) said: "The next steps that the Islamic Republic must take to deal with such countries as Russia, that take hostile actions against us, is to cut off ties…trade, economic and political relations with them."
