Russia abandons the Islamic Republic

Iran Press News: According to the regime-run news site AFTAB, Mohammad-Nabi Roudaki, the vice-chairman of the security and foreign policy of the Islamic parliament (the Majles) said: "The next steps that the Islamic Republic must take to deal with such countries as Russia, that take hostile actions against us, is to cut off ties…trade, economic and political relations with them."

Roudaki criticizing the policies of Moscow added: "Russia is a country abandons support for countries and we view these actions as back stabbing.”

Roudaki’s statements coincided with comments from Aladdin Boroujerdi, the chairman of the Islamic regime’s security council who emphasized: "The Islamic Republic has greater expectation from Russia in the future; we expect Moscow to use its legal power within the U.N. security council to face down the United States."
