Iranian regime hangs Iranian-Dutch woman

This morning Zahra Bahrami Dutch citizens and political prisoner, whom was arrested last year after the election was executed in Evin prison.

Zahra Bahrami political prisoner, was arrested during the Ashura events of last year and was sentenced to death by judge salavati under charges of “Moharebeh” (enemy of god) and “dealing drugs”. Her sentence also included confiscation of properties, 14 million rials fine, 70 lashes and execution which was announced to her lawyer on January 2, 2011.

Tehran’s Prosecutors’ report states: Following an inspection of her house, whom was previously arrested for security reasons, the police have found 450 grams of cocaine, 420 grams of opium and have discovered the dealing of 150 grams of cocaine.

Earlier, Zahra Bahrami’s daughter has stated her mother’s charges have no grounds and her confessions were obtained under severe torture.

Zahra Bahrami 45-year-old Music graduate is a mother of two children whom had travelled to Iran to visit her children and was arrested by security forces during the Ashura events of Tehran. She spent several months at Gohardasht prison, and ward 209 of Evin prison and was intensively interrogated during her imprisonment.
