Human Rights House of IRAN, Hossein Mahmoudi and Abbas Shojaei, members of the Islamic National Front, were arrested on Wednesday. The security forces who had entered their house had told their families that they have been arrested for holding illegal book reading meetings. The reason for Mahmoudi’s arrest is participation in the classes of the Serat Institution and activities in the Islamic National Front. The Serat Institution had held classes on Dr. Soroush’s books and had been raided by the authorities. Several other individuals were also arrested.
