Human Rights House of IRAN, There are concerns as to the condition of Ward 350 detainee Mehdi Kouhkan.
Mehdi Kouhkan who has been imprisoned since February of last year has been suffering from severe knee problems for months. He has been deprived of medical attention. His condition is worrisome to the extent that he has fallen on the ground several times and has been suffering from severe pain. He is in need of surgery but the authorities have prevented it.
He was arrested last year along with Mohsen Sadeghi and Ebrahim Babaei for founding a group. The other two individuals were released on bail but Kouhkan is still in prison since he cannot afford the bail money.
