Reports of putting pressure on Human right activities

CHRR: Political and civil rights activists “ Anvar Hossein Panahi” who had sentenced to death by Revolutionary Court which it was commuted to 16 years in prison after protesting the international human rights organizations.

Anwar’s Brother “Ashraf Hossein Panahi” ,while tried to associate with guilt over as evidence with 5000 signature petition was on the way to Tehran to show his brother’s innocent , he was killed in a suspicious manner two years ago. The security forces of Qorveh city in Sannandaj has been arrested Afshin several times who is the youngest brother of this family who sustained of his older brothers. According to those close to him, "he lost fifty percent of his eyesight because of tortured in Qorveh Intelligence."

Anwar Hossein Panahi arrested by the security forces on October of 2009 and he was at the absolute ignorance for six months in Qorveh’s prison. The Quoting from one of inmates in his cell’’ one winter night in 2009 , while Anwar had the fractures ribs and also infection in his kidneys, Intelligence guards were forced him to take off his clothes and tiding him to a bar in the prison yard . This action causes the severity of anesthesia for Anwar, and then the officers brought him back to prison and making him awake.

This prisoner adds that these tortures are repeated several times during a month. Anwar Hossein Panahi charges of acting against national security and God , he was sentenced to death but after protesting the international community and human rights organizations , his sentences was reduced to the 16-year prison. According to his lawyers, his case empty of any confessions or evidence that prove that he deserves a prison sentence even for one day.

Anwar Hossein Panahi who is the members of civil rights activists, CNN and represented as a trustful faces in Dehgolan region. He still does his civil activities in Sanandaj prison, with given the continuing attempt to establish the counseling classes for inmates who suffered form addiction. According to quota of the prisoners in Sanandaj prison, his classes always have over 200 participants and excellently prevented the entry of drugs into the prison and jail space has changed to a positive environment. During this time he was repeatedly banned from visitation his family like last week.

Human Rights Committee is condemning the deal with these prisoners, both political and public and demanding to release unconditional of all political prisoners.
