Zia Nabavi has been moved to intelligence agency’s prison

based on our sources, Zia Nabavi spokeman of Education Defence Council, who was transferred to an unknown place from one month ago, now is imprisoned solitary in Prison in Ahwaz. This student was suffering last month in solitary confinement under pressure of intelligence agency’s interrogators, to acquiesce denying the starred student’s existance in a television interview.

However, one of the prisoners from the same ward, earlier confirmed that Zia Nabavi has been moved out from Karoon Ahwaz prison and said he is suffering extreme pressure.Also, father of this political prisoner, earlier said we are not allowed to visit him in a long time and we just heard our son’s transferred to unknown place by other prisoners and their families.

Zia Nabavi is spokeman and one of the founders of Education Defence Council, and starred student of Babol Noshiravani University, who got arrested along with some of his friends on 15th June, 2009, and moved to Evin prison.

After 5 months, by Revolution court branch 26, he sentenced to 15 years of jail and exile in Izeh prison. But after Appeals Court it decreased to 10 years. He moved to Karoon Ahwaz prison in last October.
