LONDON -(Dow Jones)- Iran's oil minister Masoud Mirkazemi is expected to leave his position as part of a merger between the oil and power ministries, Iranian news agencies said Monday.
But top officials at the oil ministry told Dow Jones Newswires there had been no official confirmation and the final outcome wasn't clear yet.
The semi-official Fars agency quoted deputy power minister Ali Zabihi as saying "it's almost decided...the oil minister will not stay" at his post after the merger between the two ministries.
