‘Iranium’ to play at GOP meeting

The Benton County Republican Women will meet at 11:30 a.m. on May 23 at the King Tin restaurant 1857 N.W. Ninth, Corvallis.

“The government in my backyard” is the topic of guest speaker Mini Stout, board member of the Alsea Valley Alliance and Alsea Citizens Advisory Committee.

She has been active in land use and property rights issues since 1970. She will look at Benton County’s proposed riparian land rules.

The DVD “Iranium” will be shown. It covers the intentions of Iran’s leaders and American responses over the past 31 years.
