Ayatollah discloses more on Iran’s political development

Ayatollah Abdolnabi Namazi, the representative of the Iranian supreme leader in the central city of Kashan in his website has disclosed some details of the recent row between President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the leader of the country.

The Ayatollah in his website safirevelayat –Ambassador of the Ruler- Tuesday says the members of the so called the “current of deviation”, an expression used against close aid to the president, has in mind removing the Iranian clerics from power.

He accused the president and his chief of staff Esfandyar Rahim Mashaii of expending huge amount of money to save the majority of seats in the next parliament to be elected in March.

“The IRGC Commander Mohammad Ali Jafari has plead the supreme leader to allow arresting the man- Rahim-Mashaii- putting an end to the scramble, but the leader has not decided yet on the matter”, he claims, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei however gave the permission to arrest only the people around the president but he should stay untouched, Namazi went on to claim.
