Two men, one of them an Afghan citizen, were executed

Iran Human Rights: Yesterday Iran Human Rights reported that several people might have been executed in Tehran’s Evin prison.

According to Jam-e-Jam online (belonging to the Iranian state broadcasting, reported that two men were hanged in Tehran’s Evin prison yesterday Wednesday June 1st. According to the report One of the men was identified as "Abdolmajid Rigi", convicted of Moharebeh and armed clash with the security forces in 2006.

The other man was identified as Hossein Barikzahi, an Afghan citizen, convicted of murdering his wife and sexual abuse of his daughter.

The charges have not been confirmed by independent sources.
