Bread crisis in Tehran

The price of flour has jumped 50-fold and the price of bread has increased four-fold, according to the Iranian regime’s news sources.

Six months after the Iranian regime implemented a plan to lift subsidies, the regime’s media outlets have made revelations about a bread crisis in Tehran. According to these sources, despite a rise in bread prices the quality remains the same.

The regime has not made good on its promises to compensate for rising fuel and electricity prices, leading to more pressures on bread makers. The leader of Tehran’s Bread Makers Union has resigned in this regard.
