Political activist Mohsen Aminzadeh returned to Evin prison on Tuesday afternoon and immediately joined the hunger strikers. After a few days on furlough, Mohsen Aminzadeh, a reformist diplomat, was summoned back to Evin prison along with Mostafah Tajzadeh.
According to Kalame website, another political prisoner, Mohammad Javad Mozafar is now on a three-day furlough due to the death of his mother in law. With Aminzadeh joining the group there are now 12 political prisoners in ward 350 of Evin prison who are on hunger strike in protest of the death of Haleh Sahabi and Hoda Saber.
Aminzadeh was arrested on June 15, 2009 and after spending 4 months in solitary confinement he was sentenced to 5 years in prison. He was recently granted furlough in order to recieve medical attention for his kidney disease. But Aminzadeh was summoned back to Evin prison before he could seek medical attention because he attended the memorial service for Hoda Saber. On Tuesday afternoon Mohsen Aminzadeh was transferred back to prison.
