According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Google has recently launched its social networking platform called Google Plus to a limited number of users on a trial basis. Today, web users in Iran were unable to reach Google Plus.
The Internet Content Filtering Committee in Iran has blocked Google Plus despite the fact that only one day ago, the Iranian Cyber Space Police Chief said, “Membership in social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter is not a crime.”
