An influential clergyman predicts the next parliamentarian elections in March 2012 would turn to a disaster for the country, “worst in the history of the Islamic Republic”, the semiofficial Fars news agency reported Sunday.
Ayatollah Ahamad Alamolhoda the conservative Friday prayer leader from the Eastern Iranian city of Mashad speaking at a gathering of the so called “principalists” of the province Khorasan added: “In the next elections all groupings, even reformists would conceal as “principalists”, -it means- loyal to the political system” and urged to stay vigilant.
