Iran is threatening to cut oil supplies to India by August if billions of dollars in what it says are overdue payments for crude oil are not made.
Iran's semi-official Fars news agency says it will not authorize the shipment of crude oil to India starting Aug. 1 if India does not pay up.
The two countries resolved a dispute in February over how India pays for Iranian crude oil, with New Delhi agreeing to set up a mechanism to route payments through a German bank.
The decision ended a stalemate that had threatened to disrupt Iranian oil supplies to India.
