Actress Pegah Ahangarani has been arrested by the security forces. Ahangarani’s parents are both directors and she had worked at Mousavi’s Campaign. She had been summoned and interrogated several times after the elections.
Marzieh Vafamehr, a director, a documentary filmmaker and an actress, who is the wife of director Naser Taghvaei, has also been detained. She had played in a movie by the name of “My Tehran on Sale.” It is believed that she has been arrested for her role in the movie. Several other people involved in the movie have also been arrested but their names have not been revealed.
Mahnaz Mohammadi is another documentary filmmaker who is currently in detention.
