Former student activist of Qazvin International University Mostafa Nili was detained after referring to the Prosecutor’s Office at Evin Prison in order to serve his sentence.
Mostafa Nili who had been arrested in 2009, was released on bail after 40 days of solitary confinement.
According to the Human Rights House of Iran, he was sentenecd to 3 yaers and 6 months in prison for acting against national security. The court verdict was upheld by the Appeals Court.
