The Kaleme website, associated with Green Movement leader Mir Hussein Mousavi, called upon the Iranian regime to learn a lesson from Qadhafi's downfall and stop oppressing the people. It said that the regime should rely on the support of the people rather than on the support of Russian and China, which had proved to be unreliable allies to the Libya regime.
Fatima Karroubi, the wife of Green Movement leader Mehdi Karroubi, said that the regime has separated her from her husband and has isolated him in a small apartment. Karroubi and Mousavi have both been under house arrest for some six months.
