Iran has rejected a ceasefire offer by the Kurdish nationalist group PJAK, after the IRGC renewed its attacks on the group in Iraqi Kurdistan on September 2, 2011. Iranian sources claim that 30 PJAK militiamen have been killed in the clashes, whereas the PJAK claims that 50 IRGC fighters have been killed.
According to reports, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi is to visit Kurdistan soon.
