Iranian Deputy Oil Minister Ali-Reza Zeighami has denied Western reports that Iran imports refined oil from China in return for crude oil and claimed that Iran produces 50 million liters of refined oil daily.
Majlis Energy Committee deputy chairman Naser Soudani recently said that Iran is temporarily importing 14 million liters of refined oil daily due to the poor quality of locally produced refined oil.
