Persian2English – Renowned Iranian lawyer Abdolfattah Soltani was arrested today. Reliable sources inside Iran have told Persian2English that he was arrested outside the Revolutionary Court.
His wife Masoumeh Dehghan announced the arrest to BBC. She said, “Today at 1:30pm Mr. Soltani and four [regime agents] came into the house, went to his bedroom, and took any cd’s, papers, or documents they could find. When we protested and explained the documents belong to the children, they didn’t listen and even took my children’s lap top with them.”
Masoumeh Dehghan said that the four [regime agents] remained in her home for a few hours. “The four [regime agents] left the house along with Mr. Soltani at 4:00pm and I am not sure where they took my husband. We were told to refer to the court to get our possessions returned to us,” she added.
