According to reports, eight prisoners in the Vakil Abad Prison in Mashhad were hanged on Sunday. A new wave of executions have started from a few weeks ago in Iran and these executions are taking place in almost all locations.
On Sunday, September 18, eight prisoners were hanged on charges of narcotics possession during a secret mass execution in the Vakil Abad Prison.
The names of these prisoners were:
Amir-Reza Chupan Sahranavard, son of Mohammad, Hadi Karimi son of Mohammad-Ali, Abolfazl Marati, Jalal Khiabani, son of Abbas, Javad Nazari, son of Ali, Khalil Hosseini, son of Mohammad, Massoud Bolvaye son of Mohammad and Khosro Soheili Far, son of Abdollah.
