IINS – The initial report claiming the President in his trip to New York has also taken his daughter and his son-in law and his grandchild with himself was refuted by a short official statement of the presidential office.
The website Alef, belonging to the influential conservative lawmaker Ahamad Tavakkoli now claims the names of the three were on list asking for visa and adds, “the reason why they have not accompanied the President was apparently the rejection of their visa application by US authorities.”
About 100 people have accompanied Ahamadinejad to his trip to New York last week.
Among several ministers, advisers, diplomats and bodyguards there were also close family members. Alef published on Thursday the list of visa applicants:
1- Mrs. Farrahi Shandiz, wife
2- Mehi Ahmadinejad, son
3- Mrs. Taybeh Mashaii, daughter-in –law
4- Mrs. Fatemeh Ahmadinejad, daughter
5- Mehdi Khorshidi, Son-in-law
6- Grandchild of his daughter “Alef” asks why the latest three have applied for US-visa, did they have any diplomatic experience? The website requests the President to publish the expenses of his trip and asks why in the former trips to US, he has taken his family members./-
