Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert criticized the recent public debate on the possibility of a strike against Iran and noted that "in my time there were no public dramas. I forbade ministers from speaking and the talk stopped. I have seen no restraint in this government."
Olmert added: "On this topic we need to act with sense and restraint, with responsibility and humility. We are not the only powerful state or the most powerful state in the world. We need to know how to maneuver so that we get the best results at the lowest cost, not the other way around."
