Three prisoners were hanged in Qazvin yesterday

Iran Human Rights, March 14: Three prisoners were hanged in the prison of Qazvin (Ghazvin), west of Tehran, yesterday morning.

According to the official website of the judiciary in Qazvin, the prisoners were identified as: 1- Reza P. (39 year old) for carrying 3 kilograms of heroin and 7,8 grams of "shisheh" (synthetic narcotic sunbstance), 2- Mansor A (45 year old) son of Hossein, for keeping and carrying 734 kilograms and 400 grams of opium, keeping arms and large quantities of other narcotic drugs, 3- Latifollah B. (50 year old) son of Shahbaz, for keeping 354 grams of heroin, buying 1260 grams of heoin and selling 50 grams of heroin

The prisoners had been sentenced to death by the second section of the Revolutionary Court in Qazvin. The executions took place inside the Qazvin central prison Tuesday morning March 12.

Two other prisoners were also publicly hanged in Mashhad yesterday.

According to the official and unofficial reports at least 18 people have been hanged in Iran during the past 7 days.
