Iran to Allocate $11 Billion to Ministries With Debts

Bloomberg -- Iran’s government allocated 135 trillion rials ($11 billion) to four ministries to clear debts to contractors, the official Islamic Republic News Agency reported, citing the government’s information office.

Some 60 trillion rials will be given to the Oil Ministry, 40 trillion to the Energy Ministry, 35 trillion to the Justice Ministry and about 3 billion to the Interior Ministry, IRNA said without giving details of projects for which the ministries are in debt or a timeline for the payments.
