According to the received reports, Reza Shahabi, a member of the board of directors of Tehran and Suburbs Vahed Bus Workers Syndicate, who since June 12, 2010 has been incarcerated for 22 months in prison, has been sentenced to six years with flogging, barred for five years from taking part in union activities and four thousand dollars in fines by branch 15 of the revolutionary court in Tehran.
Tehran and Suburbs Vahed Bus Workers Syndicate, condemning this sentence, demands an immediate release of Reza Shahabi along with the other imprisoned workers.
