Dervishes Were Taken of Section 350 Evin Prison

Majzooban Noor - Three Gonabadi dervishe's lawyers and managers of Majzooban Noor website (Nematollahi Gonabadi Order News Site) who have been confined in section 350 of Evin prison, Messrs.Mostafa Daneshjou, Afshin Karampour and Amir Eslami, were taken to hospital this morning on 11th Mordad 1391 (Aug 01, 2012).

According to Majzooban reporter, Mostafa Daneshjou due to exacerbation of his respiratory problems (asthma) was transferred to Modarres hospital and was hospitalized there today.

It should be noted that, during the period of detention, his respiratory disease got worse so that he has been transferred to hospital for several times.

It is reminded that, this Gonabadi dervish and the Prisoner of Conscience, for more than a month has been hospitalized to treat his respiratory and renal illness in Tajrish Shohada hospital on Esfand 1390 (march).

Also, Gonabadi dervish's lawyer, Mr.Afshin Karampour was sent to Tehran Milad Hospital for treatment of his broken leg this morning.

It is mentioning that, although that is more than 6 months that he has requested to transfer to hospital and Evin prison doctor had confirmed sending him to hospital, but just recently the authorities have agreed to his request, because this lawyer and prisoner of conscience previously had refused to go to hospital due to use of shackle.

Gonabadi dervish, Afshim Karampour after some medical examinations and tests was again returned to Evin prison today at noon.

Another Gonabadi dervishes's lawyer, Mr. Amir Eslami, who is being held in Evin prison was taken to Taleghani hospital due to exacerbation of his heart disease and the doctor ordered his immediate hospitalization.

As our reporter added, he has a history of heart disease and during detention term in section 350 and 209 he had unfortunately heart attack several times but each time he has been taken to hospital on an outpatient basis only and was returned to prison immediately.

His family expressed concern about his cardiac status and said to our reporter: "It was a long time that we tried and followed up that the cardiologist put him under medical supervision so that finally, after more than 2 months since the prison doctor confirmed his hospitalization, this jailed lawyer was sent to hospital."

It should be noted that, Gonabadi dervish and one of the managers of Majzooban Noor website, Mr.Hamid Reza Moradi, who is held in ward 350 of Evin prison, has a poor physical health and his severe kidney problems and also over 70 percent blockage in the veins of his legs makes his family too concerned and worried about his health.

Also, his brother, Mr.Saleh Moradi, who has been held in Adel Abad prison for 11 months, despite neck and shoulder pain which has been appeared since his arrest, authorities have not yet let him to be examined by a physician.

On last September, when the security guards rushed in to arrest other Gonabadi dervish, Mr.Reza Entesari , his finger was damaged and now he is not able to bend it normally.

Despite the passing of all administrative procedures and getting medical approval Reza is still waiting for treatment.

It is mentioning that unfortunately the health care status and treatment for prisoners of conscience and political prisoners is too undesirable in Iran.
