Khamenei’s concerns over election

Freedom Messenger

The state-run daily Kayhan, which publishes Khamenei’s views, for the second consecutive day, assigned its editorial to Khamenei’s warning against the danger of public revolt and regime’s rupture during the sham elections. The evidences clearly show that Islamic republic’s enemies’ eyes have turned to presidential election in June 2013. The enemy’s activities and attempts less than eight months to the election clarifies this situation.

Pointing out the EU and US oil and central bank sanctions since June and expanding them, Kayhan wrote: the project of sanctions against Islamic Republic in order to affect the upcoming election is being followed both by intensification and escalation. Hence, on Monday October 15, in its Luxemburg’s meeting, the EU approved new sanctions against Iranian banking network, gas imports, energy and sea transportation.
