Increased Security Forces & Dervishes in a Tight Circle

Majzooban Noor - Shahrekord's dervishes are still surrounded by security forces, police and plainclothes.

It has been reported that a large number of security forces and plain-clothes by creating conflict try to rush into the dervishes's houses.

According to Majzooban reporter, this morning on 25th Day 1391 (Jan 15, 2013)some plain-clothes without a warrant entered into the house of Mr. Saffarian and tried to open scaffolds that were installed in the yard as weather protection during worship times. Two households demanded the warrant and stood against the officers but they were arrested by plainclothes and taken to an unknown place then a team was sent there to fire the tents mounted on scaffolds and also some loaders were taken there.

Dervishes by gathering in front of worship-place of Gonabadi dervishes in Shahrekord have tried to prevent the destruction of this religious place till now.

Thousands of security forces have surrounded the dervishes and blocked all roads leading to the worship-place and also two bulldozers and fire trucks and police cars are there now.

There is no correct information about the number of detained dervishes yet.

Mr.Saffarian and Davari are still in detention.

Dervishes of the nearby towns, including Boroujerd to accompany their brothers in faith have come to Shahrekord and from other cities, are also planning to move towards there but the security forces, surrounded the dervishes in a tight circle to prevent them to reach the worship-place and other dervishes.

It is notable that, Last year an extremist group without a warrant or legal permission with the pretext of urban problems had threatened to destroy this place and Mr. Saffarian had been summoned by intelligence service several times.

Urgent News: Loaders Ready to Demolish Gonabadi Dervishes Worship-place in Shahrekord, Surrounded by Security Forces

According to a report by Majzooban Noor, a few hours ago with the massive presence of special forces officers in front of worship-place of Gonabadi dervishes in Shahrekord, Mr. Mansour Saffarian and Mehdi Davari arrested.

Mansour Saffarian the son of Gonabadi dervish, Mr. Abbas Saffarian who holds the Dervishes ceremonies at his home the nights before Friday, detained by security forces and their house was threatened with demolition today on 25th Day 1391 (Jan 15, 2013).

According to the reports, some loaders has been sent to destroy this religious places. Local dervishes have gathered there to prevent the destruction of this place.

Other dervishes of the nearby towns, are also planning to move towards Shahrekord city. ‬

The security forces have surrounded the Dervishes and blocked all roads leading to the worship-place so there is no possibility of making any contact. And also two bulldozers and fire trucks and police cars are there.
