United States Senator John Mccain, a senior member of the armed services committee, referred to latest events in Syria and said that Syria and Iran have crossed Israel's red line by trying to transfer sophisticated weaponry through Syria to Hezbollah.
Mccain mocked US Chief of Staff General Martin Dempsey's statement that the Syrian anti-aircraft defenses are hard to crack, and said that indeed, the Israeli Air Force cracked them. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
