HRANA News Agency – A while before presidential elections, Zhila Karamzade Makvandi, Masoud Bastani, Ahmad Zeydabadi, Bahman Ahmadi Amooi and Didar Raufi returned to the prisons. According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Zhila Karamzade Makvandi, one of the peace mothers who had come for vacation last week returned to prison yesterday. Zhila Karamzade Makvandi had been arrested on February 8, 2010 in her house, being kept in the solitaries of section 209 of Evin prison for 34 days she was released on the bail of 50 Million Thomans. She was tried on February 2011 and was sentenced to 4 years of prison on April 4, 2011. The appeal court reduced this sentence to 2 years of prison and 2 years of prison suspended for 5 years. Ghorban Behzadian Nejad, the administrator of Mir Hossein Mousavi’s election campaign is another political prisoner who has to return to the prison. He was arrested in 2009 and sentenced to 5 years of prison. He was also fired from the university where he used to teach as a professor. Masoud Bastani, Ahmadi Zeydabadi, Bahman Ahmadi Amooi and Didar Raufi who were also informed by the telephone call that they must return to section 12 of Rajai Shahr prison went back to this prison in Karaj.
