Wednesday 29 May 2013Iranian MP: Less experienced candidates should leave scene
Azerbaijan, Baku, May29 / Trend F.Eminli / Iranian MP Ahmad Tavakkoli says the next president should be experienced in running the country in high levels, so those candidates who are not so experienced should leave the presidential race. According to ILNA, Tavakkoli said that the president should be a prominent political and religious figure and should have experienced in macro management. If we transfer the power incorrectly to any of the candidates, we have indeed repeated the previous mistakes. The country's economic situation is not favorable. It is facing with inflammatory recession. It means that unemployment rate and inflation rate are simultaneously high. Tavakkoli didn't mentioned any name, but before this, some Iranian MPs called people to avoid voting to Saeed Jalili, who hasn't had any executive post. Jalili is Iran's representative in nuclear talks with six major powers. "Mismanagements in the country and enmity of some countries with the Iranian nation through imposing economic sanctions have led to a negative growth rate and an inflation rate of above 32 percent, Tavakkoli said. "The country's unstable foreign currency market has been without a proper management for about 1.5 years. This issue has unbalanced the national economy." Iran's national currency, rial, dropped in value by more than 40 percent during last 1.5 years. Iran will hold the eleventh presidential elections on June 14, 2013. Do you have any feedback?
