Benjamin Netanyahu: Iran will get the message

POLITICO

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanhayu said Wednesday the Syrian regime should be stripped of chemical weapons, and that the response to Syria will send a message to Iran, according to reports.

Netanyahu, speaking at a military ceremony, called Syria’s use of chemical weapons a “crime against humanity,” according to Reuters.

“It must be ensured that the Syrian regime is stripped of its chemical weapons, and the world must make sure that whoever uses weapons of mass destruction pays a price for it,” Netanyahu said. “The message that is received in Syria will be received loudly in Iran.”

The United States is currently looking into a proposal by Russia to put all chemical weapons in Syria under international control to be destroyed.
