Saturday 05 October 2013Commander: Iran's new DDF system fully operational
Trend.Az A senior Iranian commander says the enemy can no longer conceal itself since the new Digital Direction Finder (DDF) system became fully operational, Press TV reported. The system can easily detect the direction of flying targets with highest degree of precision, making it impossible for stealth aircraft to hide from our sight, Commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base Brigadier General Farzad Esmaili said on Saturday. He said that the system has very good performance in electronic warfare and is fully immune to jamming systems. The commander said that the system reduces time of decision-making but increases speed of action. Esmaili stressed Iran's defense doctrine, saying Iran will never attack any country. In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in its defense sector and has attained self-sufficiency in producing essential military equipment and systems. The Islamic Republic has also held several military drills to enhance the defense capabilities of its armed forces and to test modern military tactics and equipment. Tehran has repeatedly assured other nations that its military might poses no threat to other countries since the Islamic Republic's defense doctrine is based entirely on deterrence. |
