No news about Ghazi Abbasi’s condition

HRANA News Agency – Ghazi Abbasi the Arab citizen from Shadegan -Fallahiyeh- has been transferred from the quarantine ward of Karoun prison to intelligence office and there is no news from his condition.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ghazi Abbasi the son of Ahmad the political prisoner in Karoun prison has been transferred to unknown location on September 30, 2013.

Karim Deihimi the human rights activist told HRANA reporter “In the morning of September 30, 2013 Ghazi Abbasi called his family and told them he is in quarantine ward of Karoun prison and does not know when his execution verdict will be enforced.”

“Ghazi Abbasi is one of the four sentenced to execution prisoners of Fallahiyeh who was transferred to quarantine ward on September 27, 2013. In the beginning his cellmates were not sure that he has been transferred to intelligence office detention center but when he called his family on September 30, it became very clear that he has been transferred to the quarantine ward. Afterwards Amnesty international released an statement he has been transferred to Ahwaz intelligence office on October 4, 2013 and there is no news from his condition since that time.”

“Ghazi’s family is very concerned about his condition.”

This political prisoner was sentenced to execution with three more Arabs from Fallahiyeh on September 4, 2012 by Ahwaz revolutionary court.

The judicial officials informed the families of the four Arab prisoners on July 13, 2013 that supreme court confirmed the execution verdict of them and their verdicts’ enforcement are in queue.
