Putin, Netanyahu talks likely to focus on Iran

Russian President Vladimir Putin is holding talks with visiting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that are expected to focus on the Iranian nuclear program. Wednesday's talks in the Kremlin come as Iran and six world powers, including Russia, sat down for a new round of negotiations.

Putin and Netanyahu didn't mention the Iranian issue in brief remarks at the meeting's start before continuing the talks in private. Both leaders hailed bilateral ties and vowed to further expand cooperation in various areas. They also said they would use the talks to discuss acute international issues. (AP)
