Sunni prisoners on the 20th day of hunger strike

HRANA News Agency – Physical condition of six Sunni prisoners of conscientious, who are on hunger strike, is reported very severe. A normal prisoner is got beaten for having contact with them.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), these Sunni prisoners of conscientious, who have sentenced to death, are transferred from solitary confinement to service ward, but they are under pressure, by prison’s authorities and other prisoner are banned from having contact with them.

An informed source told to HRANA’s reporter, ”Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Molayi, Jamshid Dehghani, Jahangir Dehghani, Sedigh Mohammdi and Syed Hadi Hosseini who has started their hunger strike in response to their death sentences and their corporation demands, were visited by prison physician and nutritious levels is prescribed for them. But, they have refused to take the medications and insisted for continuation of their hunger strike. The physical condition of Jamshid Dehghani and Hamed Ahmadi is very bad.”

He added about the Seyed Hadi Hosseini, which was separated from the others, “He is also transferred to service ward, and last night had a convulsion. He is still on hunger strike.”

This source also mentioned, “The authorities are banned having any contact with these prisoners. Two days ago in an occasion that one of them collapsed, a normal prisoner (with the name of Kuroush Zardrooyi) intended to help them, but he was beaten by prison guards.”
