TEHRAN – The Iranian Navy’s 28th fleet of warships has docked in the Sri Lankan port of Colombo, the deputy commander of the Navy announced on Friday.
The fleet is comprised of Alborz destroyer, Bandar Abbas helicopter-carrying tanker, a Russian-origin Kilo-class submarine Younes, and a Bell 212 Twin Huey helicopter, Rear Admiral Siavash Jareh said.
The Iranian fleet docked in the port of Colombo after visiting the Mumbai harbor as part of its mission in the Far East, he added.
